Step into a world of enchantment at the Hunter’s Moon Fantasy Getaway, a spellbinding retreat nestled in Lake Hughes's breathtaking wilderness.
Join us for a weekend filled with crafting workshops, photoshoot tutorials, professional portrait photography with captivating backdrops, specialty craft vendors, fun group activities, role playing, and collaborative fantasy-themed games.
Whether you’re mixing elixirs, hunting cryptids, or crafting your own magical accessories, this event promises a whirlwind of creativity, camaraderie, and fantasy under the glowing Hunter’s Moon!

All workshops are offered twice a day (one in AM, one in PM), both Saturday and Sunday so attendees will have the opportunity to take all classes offered!

Leatherworking - Learn the skills you need to get started with simple leather crafting projects, and tips to elevate your technical skills.

Accessories and Prop Crafting - Choose between various kits

Intro to Blacksmithing - Learn the basics of Blacksmithing and make a letter opener.​
Professional Portrait Photography Session
Every participant will have the opportunity to work with our professional photographers, both for education as well as a personal photoshoot.

Learn the ins and outs of Posing, Lighting, Composition, Props, and Location Scouting.

Clothing: Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (layers for varying temperatures); Lightweight jacket or fleece, Cloak or shawl for chilly evenings.

Sketchbook/Notebook: For taking notes during demonstrations, and recording ideas and reflections.

Costumes (with accessories and props): 2-3 of your favorite costumes for professional photoshoots; and optional Cosplay mending kit

Shoes: Comfortable closed toed shoes are advised, in natural fibers like leather, cotton, or canvas. Hiking shoes for light trail walking.
