What Is Makerspace Hideout?

Makerspace Hideout is a growing creative community located just over an hour from Los Angeles, but it feels like the edge of the world. Nestled on over 150 acres of off-grid wilderness. There’s no traffic. No neighbors. Just oak forests, open pastures, fruit trees, seasonal streams, and more wildlife than people.

This is a place where creativity and calm go hand-in-hand.

Communal Housing -- What’s On-Site?

Our central communal home blends warmth and simplicity, with large, airy rooms and panoramic views in every direction.

Communal residence includes:

A hot tub overlooking the valley
A big shared kitchen with all the tools you need
A long redwood dining table for “family dinners” and game nights
High-speed internet and all the modern comforts

You can bunk in a shared room for that cozy sleepaway-camp feel, or choose a private suite with your own bathroom for extra solitude. Leases are month-to-month.

Live-in Creative Community -- What Can You Do Here?

There’s always something to do, build, and learn — from painting murals, building immersive installations, and cultivating the land, to helping out in our small-batch vineyard.
